History

The store has evolved over the years to propose this unique 4500 m2 space in Gosselies and 3500m2 in Jemappes, exclusively dedicated to fashion.

Rackstore Gosselies

January 1996: store grand opening. At that time, it offered a 600m2 space dedicated to sportswear and Levi’s.

1998: a 600m2 expansion to the existing store was finalized and created the opportunity to welcome new brands (Esprit, Quicksilver, Oxbow, O'Neill).

1999-2000: a new expansion of 700m2 was added together with the installation of a roller park.

2000-2001: the roller park was turned into a specialized sports area. Three different halls are created: women, men and kids.

2002: refurbishment of the sport, men and kids corners.

2003: a new expansion was added to the existing store by buying back the "Mondial Textile" (1200 m2) shop.

2004: grand re-opening of this unique concept in Belgium, built on a total surface of 3000m2.

2005: further expansion of the store, reaching the current size of 4500m2.

July 2005: implementation of a brand-specific corner, fully dedicated to Esprit.

February 2006: implementation of the Mango corner space.

2007: Mexx was introduced to the concept by also receiving its very own corner space.

Stay tuned for new works planned for 2010 that will bring your comfort up to the next level.
